Whether you are expecting family to visit for the 4th of July holiday, or friends in town for a weekend, summer seems to require us all to play host or hostess. Before your guest arrives, we suggest spending a night in your own guest room to see if there is anything lacking.
Confirm simple things like a convenient outlet to plug in a cell phone by the bed. If one is not easily accessible, be sure to add an extension cord. Select a book of short stories or something from your library that you think your guest would enjoy and place on the bedside table.
