As designers who travel often for out of town projects, the idea of a simple but luxurious staycation is very appealing. How wonderful to completely eliminate the worries about flight delays and lost luggage! A successful getaway is all about your state of mind and sometimes the best retreat is your own backyard. We find it easy to convince ourselves to lock away our cell phones and pretend we are someplace exotic; not able to get cell service. Even in the Houston heat, here is our dream staycation.
