We are delighted that Ronda Carman’s new book, “Entertaining at Home” (Rizzoli, New York 2019) features a chapter highlighting “Breakfast in the Garden” at the Eilers’ house, where Sarah shares her ideas for entertaining along with one of her favorite recipes. |
The book is a colorful collection of festive get-togethers created by tastemakers from across the country. Bettie Bearden Pardee, who is one of our favorite entertainers, hosted a lovely book launch in the garden of her beautiful Newport Home. |
The afternoon soirée was followed by a seated dinner for those featured in the book, who attended the event, and their guests. A delicious homemade New England clam chowder by Bettie, from her very own recipe featured in Ronda’s book, was served. |
In addition to Sarah’s thoughts on a festive breakfast gathering, “Entertaining at Home” features several other Houstonians. Lynn Wyatt – Houston based international philanthropist – offers lunch on her ranch, Texas style; Ruth Davis – the founder of FOUND – serves up a hearty harvest supper in her library turned dining room; Courtnay Tartt Elias creates a Playful Purple Party; Caroline Harper Knapp has great ideas for a Chic Soiree; and former Houstonians Susan and Skylar Dabbar give wonderful Christmas party tips… the list goes on and on! |
If you haven’t already, we hope you will take a look at Ronda’s new book. It’s a true inspiration for stylish entertaining. Full of stunning photos, scrumptious recipes and endless party ideas (and advice!) from celebrated hosts – suitable for any occasion or season. An instant “go to” entertaining guide and a must for your coffee table collection! |
